We ask you to please book appointments appropriately, this helps us keep the wait for doctors appointments down. We recommend you seek advice from NHS choices or the Pharmacist if you are unsure if you need to see a doctor or nurse.

Appointments are available between 8:15am -6:00pm, apart from Thursdays when we shut at 4pm. We also offer early morning appointments (before 8:00am) and also Saturday mornings. These are all pre-bookable appointments aimed at workers who can’t get into normal surgery appointments.

Patients have the right to choose which doctor or nurse they wish to see, although if you do wish to see someone in particular, the wait time maybe a little longer.

We now have an online triage service available via a service called AccuRx. It will ask you to enter your details and then be sent onto us at the surgery to be triaged.

Urgent on the day appointments

  • If you require an URGENT appointment you will need to telephone the surgery between 8:30am-9:30am to talk to our urgent care team.
  • The receptionist will take your details as well as a brief description of the problem.
  • The urgent care team will then call you back and offer you advice over the telephone or an urgent appointment for that day if needed.

Routine Appointments

For problems which don't need to be seen on the day urgently but require an appointment, patients can book these in advance.

Telephone Appointments

We are also increasing our telephone appointments, so that if you wish to discuss a matter over the telephone with a GP, for example test results, you can book a telephone appointment (Please note these appointments will be booked in advance and not on the day).

Do you have difficulty hearing/understanding English?

We can book interpreters for sign language as well as most other languages. We also have a hearing loop installed at the practice.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

If it is deemed appropriate, you may be offered an appointment at one of our four GP access centres across Sheffield 18:00 - 22:00 weekdays and 10:00 - 18:00 weekends.
